This Meet-Up is for beginners. You don't have to read music, sing, or improvise AND you don't need a drum. There are no prerequisites. I will teach you your part and I will make you successful! This is a great activity where adults and children (9 and older) can participate as equals and it is just plain FUN! Of course, you don’t have to be members of a family to participate. We will be learning specific ensemble pieces, which I will teach you. On 2nd Sundays we will work with drums and perc …

I believe that everybody can sing! That's why I've created this voice improvisation meet-up in Berkeley. My approach is inspired by the work of improv legends like David Darling, Bobbie McFerrin and local voice artist David Worm. Using a variety of games, activities and techniques we create one-of-a-kind "music" from next to nothing, using solely the human voice.
